Floyd Roger Myers Jr., a former child actor who played a young Will Smith on the sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," died on Oct. 29 at his home in Maryland at age 42 after suffering a reported heart attack, his mother told TMZ. Myers had suffered several prior heart attacks in recent years, and family members say they spoke with him hours before his death. His early credits also include portraying a young Marlon Jackson in the 1992 miniseries "The Jacksons: An American Dream."
Myers is survived by four children; his sister launched a GoFundMe to cover funeral costs and support the family, and tributes have come from former colleagues and the community organization he co-founded, The Fellaship Mens Group, which focuses on mentoring and men’s wellness. The family described his passing as unexpected and asked for privacy while they make arrangements.
